The best time to cast a binding spell is midnight on a new moon night. But if the same day is unavailable, choose Saturday midnight on any moon phase. Take five pieces of paper and write the name of the person you want to bind on the first piece. Write why you want to bind the person on the remaining four—one reason on each paper.
Then, take five small branches or twigs, roll each paper with the branches, and tie them with white or red thread. Once done, tie each branch together and join them from each end using a black thread.

Cast the spell below five times, burn everything, and throw the ashes in flowing water, such as a river or sea.
