On many occasions, we have needed the objects called ‘amulets’ to protect us from the dangers that surround us or the forces we cannot face.
Formerly, the evil eye amulets and other general amulets were kept in the houses to neutralize the negative energy that entered the house and the black magic.
As for protection from the evil eye, we mean amulets that shield us when we feel that something or someone has drained all our positive energy. Surrounding us with negative people, or even when someone looks at us with envy or admires us insanely or superficially, is when we can feel physically and emotionally bad, debilitated by their presence, and not want to do anything.
These people who envy and may have negative thoughts towards us will always exist. Not every time we realize that they are close to us, it is better always to have an amulet against the evil eye or simply against bad vibrations and/or envy that can directly affect us from others.
To keep these people out of our lives or at least our homes, it is the simplest thing in the world, and it is a straightforward ritual: Pouring salt from our front door, just on the floor in front of the entrance, to ward off those bad Vibrations and the envious people who come to our homes. In ancient Europe, they moved away from the evil eye.
In other countries, such as Turkey, we have the famous blue-eyed glass. Indeed, you have seen it many times, and you know what we are talking about. The most typical way to hang it on the house’s front doors is to perform the same function as the salt on the floor in Europe. They have also been seen hanging on the walls, often without more, or as keychains.
For example, the Romans formerly hung a protective pendant called ‘blisters’ on babies at birth to prevent the evil eye from harming them as infants. Because the belief in the evil eye was widespread in Italy during Roman times, even children born into wealthy families wore gold necklaces.
Other amulets against the evil eye and various protections
Next, we will name other amulets currently used to prevent the evil eye and other protections, such as the envy and curses of black magic.
- A buckwheat wreath hanging somewhere in your home.
- Plant a basil plant and leave it right at your house’s entrance. It is ideal for those with a good entry or a front garden.
- To protect your neighbors, a good amulet consists of wetting the four ends of a handkerchief in pine resin and wearing that handkerchief with you all the time, tied around your head or wherever you like.
- Flowers such as jasmine are ideal carriers of love. Always carry some petals with you, and love will always be close to you.
- Hanging a crown made of branches and leaves at the entrance door is also an excellent amulet to ward off the envy that invades us.
